About Us
This company, Photo Field Imaging, was founded by myself, Stephen Cornfield.  We are located in Newmarket Ontario Canada (just north of Toronto).  I am a photo enthusiast who was not happy with the services that I was finding, or not finding, either locally or on the web.  I, along with other family members and friends, had numerous slides and negatives that we wanted to scan and we really had no place to go.  Of the places I did go to that claimed to offer scanning services they had no idea of the options available, did the work off-site and charged way too much.  I got some confused looks when I asked for items to be scanned @4000DPI with 16 bit colour depth. It then became my goal to change all of this. 

How did we start?
One of the first things that we had to do was to educate ourselves on what our potential customers wanted.  What we found was that what people really wanted was a worry free service that would deliver on what it promised.  They also did not want their photographic works to be outsourced to a place where they had no control or knowledge of.  Our three basic goals were these:

1. provide the best quality scans

2. provide excellent service

3. price

These are the areas that we have worked very hard on for the past few years.  We know that we have have been successful at this as most of our business now is either repeat or referral.

Future Goals
As we go forward we have several goals in mind:

1. To be constantly expanding our services while  improving our existing ones

2. To consistently exceed our customers expectations

3. To be the most recommended place in Canada for  the digitization of photographic materials
