Scanning Resolutions
Determining scanning resolution can be a confusing topic because there are many different resolutions in the digital age;
scan resolution, print resolution, display resolution, camera resolution, and so
on. To help clear things up it may be helpful to first list the various types
of print sizes that are typically available from most print shops. They are as
follows:

Not all print shops are capable of printing all sizes. Some may also offer additional sizes especially for Medium or Large formats. Many print sizes may also require custom framing. Please check with your local print shop or frame store for availability and pricing.
Regarding the use of 8 bit or 16 bit (High Bit) color depth, we highly recommend using the 16 bit depth if the images are to edited in Photoshop, or any other photo editing tool.
